Lesson 03 – Qi Circulation For Health Around Dan Tian (Replay of Live Qigong Class)

This is a replay of a live Qigong session on Qi circulation for health taught by myself, Dr Janice Tucker, on how you can help promote the circulation of Qi. I am the founder of the Space To Relax Programme of Qigong video lessons. I’m also a practitioner of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. You can join my live classes on Zoom every Tuesday at 10am and Thursday at 4pm Irish time. These lessons will continue for the duration of Covid-19 and until I can return to my face to face Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine clinics.

In this video above you’ll learn a simple Qigong method to encourage Qi circulation for health around the lower abdomen area (Dan Tian). This Qigong exercise will also show you how to draw Qi into Dan Tian from your external environment. The result is a more energised body and calm mind!

You’ll also learn a little about the position of the head and neck in order to allow for free Qi flow when you are in the Qigong stance (more detail here). This position is very useful for helping to avoid and relieve tension when you are driving. You’ll also learn some Abdominal or Diaphragmatic Breathing (more detail here).
